Sony to Launch New Entertainment Hub in Tokyo’s Ginza

by editor

Sony Group Corp. is set to open its new Ginza Sony Park in Tokyo’s Ginza district next January. This state-of-the-art complex will replace the original Sony Building, which closed in 2017. The new facility is designed to be a central hub for Sony’s entertainment divisions, including gaming, movies, and music, while also showcasing the brand’s latest products.

Ginza Sony Park’s design blends exposed concrete with stainless steel, featuring five floors above ground and four below. The space will host events and retail activities, serving as a dynamic venue for both Sony fans and the broader public.

The original Sony Building, which stood since 1966, was demolished in 2017, with the site temporarily converted into a park. The new Ginza Sony Park continues Sony’s legacy in this iconic location.
