Japan Foundation Awards 2024 Ceremony Held in Tokyo

The Japan Foundation Awards 2024 presentation ceremony took place yesterday in Tokyo, honoring this year’s recipients for their exceptional contributions to promoting international friendship through culture and the arts. Hideo Suzuki, Japan’s Ambassador for Public Diplomacy, was present to celebrate the achievements of the awardees: renowned artist Chiharu Shiota, the Association of Japanese Language Teachers of Mongolia, and the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Suzuki praised the awardees for their dedication to fostering global goodwill through their work, noting the increasing importance of international mutual understanding in today’s world.
