The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan hosted Saturday a successful presentation of the book “Continuation of the Meaning of My Life” by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. The event took place in Tokyo and marked a significant cultural exchange between Turkmenistan and Japan.
The presentation was attended by notable figures, including Sakamoto Hideki, Deputy Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Public Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Representatives from various diplomatic missions, as well as officials from Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Technology and the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), were also present.
During the event, speakers highlighted the importance of Berdimuhamedov’s work, which emphasizes the rich history and enduring values of the Turkmen people. The book reflects on cultural heritage passed down through generations, as well as the modern achievements of Turkmenistan.
This event not only celebrated Turkmen literature but also reinforced the cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Japan, fostering greater understanding and appreciation between the two nations.
