A significant number of foreign diplomats, including officials from the Cuban Embassy, attended the 35th Tokyo Peace Day Ceremony, held to commemorate the victims of the Great Tokyo Air Raid. The event, organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, took place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Memorial Hall in Sumida Ward and marked 80 years since the tragic bombings that claimed approximately 100,000 lives during World War II.
Presided over by Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike, the presence of foreign diplomats, including representatives from Cuba, underscored the international community’s shared commitment to peace and solidarity, reflecting a collective effort to honor the past and build a more harmonious future.
