The event featured a captivating performance by the Māori cultural group Te Pā Tū, who showcased traditional music and dance. The performance concluded with a cross-cultural tribute, blending Māori traditions with the Japanese song “Sakura” (cherry blossoms), symbolizing the strong cultural ties between the two nations.
