The Singapore Embassy in Tokyo has shared good news for Singaporean families welcoming babies in 2025. In celebration of Singapore’s 60th year of independence, all Singapore Citizen babies born this year, including those born overseas, are eligible for the SG60 Baby Gift.
For families in Japan, parents must first register their child as a Singapore Citizen before applying for the gift. A Singapore-based delivery address will also be required to receive the commemorative package.
The initiative reflects Singapore’s commitment to celebrating its milestone anniversary and honoring the next generation of its citizens. Families can register or learn more by visiting go.gov.sg/SG60BabyGift or scanning the QR code provided by the embassy.
This special gift highlights the embassy’s role in connecting overseas Singaporeans with national celebrations and fostering a sense of unity among the Singapore residents in Japan.
