Tanzanian Ambassador Baraka Luvanda paid a courtesy visit on Friday to Mr. Ando Naoki, Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), at JICA’s headquarters in Tokyo. The discussions focused on ongoing programs and projects in Tanzania supported by the Japanese government through JICA, as well as Tanzania’s participation in two major upcoming events in Japan: EXPO 2025 in Osaka and the TICAD 9 Summit in Yokohama.
Ambassador Luvanda expressed his gratitude for Japan’s unwavering support, emphasizing how Tanzania-Japan relations have been instrumental in advancing Tanzania’s economic development and promoting sustainable growth across various sectors. The meeting underscored the strong partnership between the two nations and their shared commitment to fostering mutual progress.
