Tunisian Ambassador Meets Japanese MLIT Delegation to Strengthen Infrastructure Cooperation

Ambassador Ahmed Chafra of Tunisia met with a delegation from Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism (MLIT), led by Deputy Minister Kenichi Ogasawara. The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation in high-quality infrastructure development and reviewing the outcomes of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8).

The meeting also highlighted Tunisia’s proposed projects and explored ways to further strengthen collaboration between the two nations. This engagement underscores the commitment of both Tunisia and Japan to fostering sustainable development and economic growth through strategic partnerships.
